The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is well under way with restoration to the old Mill Pond (pictured) being completed this month. The working water mill has been battling against leaks for years so the new liner and sluice will improve matters. Marginal reed bed planting will soften the interface between building and water will add to the local ecology. All work is due to be completed by March 2017 - although the pond is likely to be finished in Feb.
