The changes to the house gave us the chance to rethink the garden as a whole. The site rises gently away from the house, so wide shallow steps and planted terraces were used to make the change in level feel natural and useful.

The upper part of the garden includes a swimming pool and gym, creating a separate area away from the house.

At the front, a largely unused space was turned into meadow with a new pond, creating a softer arrival and bringing more wildlife into the garden.
